Clips finish lengthy road trip in Charlotte

02/09/2009 - (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Los Angeles Clippers will close out a lengthy seven- game road trip Monday against the Charlotte Bobcats down south.

Los Angeles has won two in a row since a seven-game losing streak and improved to 2-4 on the road swing following Saturday's 121-97 victory over the Atlanta Hawks at Philips Arena. Al Thornton scored a game-best 31 points to go with seven rebounds and six assists for the Clippers, who are 7-19 away from the Staples Center this season.

Zach Randolph added 25 points and nine boards, while Marcus Camby donated 16 points and Baron Davis ended with 13 and eight assists. Los Angeles last won three straight games from December 12 - 16 this season.

The Bobcats have dropped five in a row and will open a two-game homestand Monday versus the Clippers and Wizards. They are 13-14 at home this season and are coming off Sunday's 96-92 loss at Miami.

D.J. Augustin netted a game-high 27 points and connected on 6-of-11 three- point attempts for the Bobcats. Juwan Howard scored 14 points and both Boris Diaw and Emeka Okafor had 10 points in the loss. Raymond Felton finished with nine points and 11 assists in defeat.

Bobcats guard Raja Bell (groin) missed Sunday's game and is not expected to return any time soon. New Charlotte forward Vladimir Radmanovic could make his Bobcats debut tonight after coming over in a deal from the LA Lakers on Saturday. He was unable to play yesterday since Los Angeles did not yet complete physicals for Adam Morrison and Shannon Brown.

Charlotte won both meetings with LA a year ago, but the Clippers have won six of the eight all-time matchups. The Bobcats are 1-3 as the host in this series.
